Katie Burnham Soprano

About
Dr. Katie Burnham is a classically trained soprano currently based in Virginia. She holds degrees in Vocal Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory (DMA), the Chicago College of Performing Arts (MM) and Bradley University (BM). As a performer she has appeared as a soloist across the United States with the Adirondack Performing Arts Fellowship, Maggie Ohstrom-Bryant's concert series, Shepherd University, Peoria Municipal Band, Bradley University, and for a variety of banquets/special events. In addition to classical music, Katie enjoys singing musical theater styles. She recently started polishing her contemporary sound with a Broadway coach in New York City.
When not on the stage, Katie enjoys teaching students of all ages and studying Voice Science. As a private teacher, she has built and maintained a voice studio in Winchester, Virginia and looks forward to continuing to assist artists of all ages in their vocal development. As a voice science enthusiast, Katie was recently brought on as a contributor to a biomedical engineering research project out of the University of Iowa.
